Job Details

The Senior Superintendent is the senior on-site leader responsible for the successful execution of our interior construction projects. This role oversees all field operations, manages Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents, coordinates subcontractors and inspectors, and ensures projects are delivered on schedule, on budget, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership & Execution

Oversee and supervise all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout.
Lead, mentor, and manage Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents.
Execute project schedules safely while maintaining quality and housekeeping standards.
Serve as the primary on-site authority and decision-maker for field operations.

Safety & Compliance

Implement and enforce jobsite safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards.
Lead daily safety efforts and ensure subcontractor compliance at all times.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite environment.

Scheduling, Logistics & Coordination

Manage all site logistics including material deliveries, staging, access, ventilation, and sanitation.
Coordinate subcontractor sequencing, inspections, and work interfaces.
Partner with Project Management to maintain schedules and resolve field conflicts proactively.

Quality Control

Review drawings, submittals, and shop drawings prior to work commencing.
Perform existing conditions analysis and verify alignment with design documents.
Ensure workmanship meets quality standards and client expectations.

Budget & Reporting

Track general requirements budgets and control field-related costs.
Prepare and submit daily reports, photos, and progress updates using project management software.
Maintain all on-site documentation including permits, inspection logs, and drawings.

Client & Stakeholder Relations

Coordinate closely with architects, designers, inspectors, landlords, and building management.
Represent our professionally with clients and project partners.
Lead punch list execution and support smooth project closeout.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of supervisory experience in commercial interior construction.
Minimum 15 years of overall construction experience.
Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and best practices for interior buildouts.
OSHA 30 certification required.
Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

Class-A office, luxury hospitality, or high-end interior buildout experience.
Experience managing multiple superintendents and complex, fast-track schedules.
Background working in occupied buildings and coordinating with property management teams.
