The technical product team is responsible for the delivery of all guest-facing digital solutions: destination and central eCommerce, Ikon Pass mobile app, identity, and the Alterra destination websites. ESSENTIAL DUTIESGeneral ResponsibilitiesAuthor user stories with clear and detailed functional/non-functional specifications, technical requirements, and solid acceptance criteriaKeep the product backlog full of actionable user stories and development deliverablesMeet with stakeholders to "dig in" and define detailed business requirementsEngage with business stakeholders for all intake requests and internally identified projectsValidate acceptance criteria achievement prior to UAT and production deploymentWork with engineering teams to support release activities and validationAct as the domain expert within the development teamManage day-to-day challenges and communicate risks with the technical product manager Lead the delivery team through all the Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, backlog grooming/refinement, and retrospectives)Manage operational activities, such as guest notifications and feature launch plansMaintain internal documentation related to processes, reoccurring activities, and project & initiativesLead status meetings with other departments to ensure alignment across teamsCommunicate project goals and requirements with the delivery team(s)Resolve all technical challenges and roadblocks that are identified during the development processOther duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSStrong experience with deconstructing complex business problems into detailed requirements and actionable user storiesConfidence working with engineering and QA teams to design and build enterprise-class platformsKnowledge and practical experience of software development lifecycle (SDLC) & Scrum methodologyExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels of the organizationAble to effectively present information to stakeholdersDemonstrated problem solver abilityAbility to context-switch, multi-task, prioritize, and wear multiple hatsDemonstrated flexible management approach by adapting communication style to suit diverse team dynamicsAbility to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detailAbility to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in writeups and mockupsProfessional/lived experience working in a culturally competent manner with a broad range of people.Preferred:Familiarity with the Ski Industry / Resort operationsProficiency with Jira, Confluence, Slack, and FigmaAn understanding of eCommerce applicationsExperience facilitating Agile ceremoniesEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS3+ years of technical business analysis/product experience2+ years in API integration and/or eCommerce technologies2+ years leading an Agile delivery teamBachelor's degree in a technical field; or equivalent combination of education and experienceThe base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of the Company's total compensation package for employees.
