As a Sentinel Radar Systems Engineer you will participate in challenging multi-disciplinary work consisting of:Radar Development Modeling Simulation and Analysis Integration & Test of Radar Hardware and Software Flight Tests and Performance Analysis & Radar System Sell-Off.This is an Onsite role in Fullerton CA.What You will DoYou will be responsible for the development and implementation of radar requirementsYou will create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design performance assessment and flight test supportYou will be responsible for the development and implementation of modeling solutions and subsequently conduct trade studies and evaluation of system and subsystem performanceYou will work in a team environment receiving inputs from the team supervisors and providing guidance and/or direction to other team membersYou will support hands-on operational Integration and Test at the Fullerton Test SiteYou will work support flight tests and analyze collected data to evaluate radar performanceYou will support CONUS and OCONUS radar system sell-off to the customerYou will travel approximately 10% in this roleQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering Science Physics Mathematics or a related STEM degree and five (5) years of prior relevant experienceExperience applying object-oriented software design in C C and using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data setsExperience developing or simulating physical systemsExperience in modeling simulation statistics or analysis for existing or proposed engineering solutionsExperience in System Integration & Test of hardware and/or softwareActive and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceQualifications We PreferAdvanced Degree in Engineering Science Mathematics or related STEM degreeExperience working on a team and by yourself interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines and developing and presenting technical briefingsExperience with radar design modeling/simulation hardware/software integration test and verificationExperience using UNIX/Linux based workstations and using Software Configuration Management toolsCourse work or experience in some of the following fields: radar signal & image processing radar and/or EO/IR environment models digital communications probability and statistics linear algebra estimation theory optimal control system architectureAbility and agreement to travelWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions behaviors and performance with a vision for a safer more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
