The primary responsibilities of the position will include ASC 740 reporting and forecast tax planning and analysis and domestic tax compliance for insurance companies.The current employee work arrangement for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.What you can expect:Preparation or review of US GAAP quarterly and annual financial reporting and analysis of US GAAP and Adjusting Operating Income taxes for international life insurance non-insurance entities and/or US affiliatesPreparation of quarterly taxable income forecast for International Business entitiesPreparing of US GAAP income tax and US cash tax models for M&As and developing tax legislative changesPreparing estimated earnings and profits GILTI subpart F inclusion for forecast actual and modeling purposes.Analyzing US GAAP pre-tax income drivers and US GAAP/Cash Tax impacts.Partnering with International Business Unit Controllers Actuarial Treasury Investment Teams in the US and overseasPartnering with co-sourcing partners in preparation of International Tax Compliance for controlled foreign corporations controlled foreign partnerships and disregarded foreign entities.Partnering with external service provider in preparation of US transfer pricing documentationWhat youll need:Bachelors degree in accounting finance economics or other related business disciplines requiredCPA and/or masters degree in tax or accounting a plusCorporate Tax experience (4-5 years) financial services sector is preferred with life insurance expertise a plusStrong oral and written communication skillsExcellent organizational/analytical skills requiredProven leadership track record strongly desiredSolid PC skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365CorpTax Compliance & Financial reporting softwareItd be a plus if you had:GAAP accounting for taxes: ASC-740/FAS 109/FIN48Understanding of life insurance taxation (SSAP 101) a plusUnderstanding of international tax concepts (GILTI Sub F E&P BEAT) a plusUnderstanding of financial service companies including insurance investments and asset management a plusStrong work ethic and able to partner in a team-oriented environmentOrganized and flexible - ability to manage multiple projects/assignments while meeting deadlinesOther comments: Overtime will be required especially during peak periods.This is a hybrid position; associates will be required to come into the office 3 days per week.Prudential welcomes all applicants even if you dont meet every requirement. The salary range for this role is from $99700.00 to $148500.00.
