Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSenior Tax/Audit ManagerLocation: Marietta, OH | On site | Full timePay: $125,000 -$150,000 annuallyOverview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax/Audit Manager to join a regional accounting firm in Ohio. This leadership role is ideal for CPAs with strong backgrounds in governmental and nonprofit audits, client relationship management, and team leadership.Key Responsibilities:Manage tax and audit teams, supervising 4 staff membersLead and review governmental and nonprofit audits for compliance with GAAP and GASBProvide strategic client advisory services and build long-term relationshipsOversee preparation of financial statements, reports, and audit documentationEnsure compliance with audit methodologies and internal controlsMentor and train staff, supporting professional growthCollaborate with partners to support client development and retentionQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA license (required)7+ years of progressive public accounting experience1+ year in a senior manager role and 2+ years in audit managementStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GASB, and audit standardsProficiency in audit software (e.g., CaseWare, CCH, or similar)Excellent communication and relationship management skillsCompensation & Benefits:Base salary $125K - $150K DOEBonus opportunities based on performanceFull-time, permanent positionProfessional growth and advancement opportunities
