At Collective Health were transforming how employers and their people engage with their health benefits by seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technology compassionate service and world-class user experience design.The Senior Team Lead for the Coordination of Benefits (COB) Medical Claims Processing team is a leadership role responsible for managing and guiding a team of COB specialists. The Senior Team Lead ensures that all aspects of COB claims processing are handled accurately efficiently and in compliance with industry standards and regulations. This position requires an experienced professional with a deep understanding of COB processes excellent leadership skills and the ability to drive team performance and continuous improvement. You will also work cross-functionally contributing to our goals and helping us build our business. You will report to the Manager Claims Integrity.What youll do:Team Leadership:Build lead and develop a high performing team fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.Provide ongoing coaching training and feedback to team members to enhance their skills and performance.Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews to drive continuous improvement.Claims Processing Oversight:Ensure timely and accurate processing of claims in adherence to established guidelines and standards.Monitor workflow to identify and address bottlenecks or issues that may impact efficiency.Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall claims processing.Quality Assurance:Implement and maintain quality assurance measures to guarantee the accuracy and consistency of claims processing.Conduct regular reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to uphold quality standards.Department-wide Responsibilities:Take the lead on department-wide projects demonstrating the ability to plan execute and complete projects with minimal oversight.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment with organizational goals.Develop strong operational relationships and drive process improvement efforts with Collective Healths medical network partnersPartner with Member Services & Claims Ops Leadership and drive towards strategic process improvements and industry best practice in operations across the MCA departmentWork cross-functionally with multiple Collective Health teams such as PM&D Eligibility Product Product Ops Legal Member Claims Member Advocates WFO Client Success and Analytics to monitor overall operational health.Performance Analysis and Reporting:Generate and analyze reports to track team and individual performance metrics.Identify trends areas for improvement and opportunities for innovation in claims processing.Meet aggressive performance goalsdriving performance effectiveness and efficiencies across your teams central domainsContinuous Improvement:Proactively identify process improvements and work with the team to implement changes that enhance efficiency and accuracy.Help the team scale external communication pathways to make them more efficient and effectiveSupporting Newer Team Leads:Provide mentorship and guidance to newer team leads to facilitate their integration into leadership roles.Share best practices offer insights and assist in their professional development.To be successful in this role youll need:To be excited about simplifying healthcare learning new things and solving hard problemsTo be comfortable leading a back office quantitative team and excited to learn the core job yourselfTo be passionate about creating and motivating a high performance teamTo have experience scaling a team and leading a team through changeTo be excited to help young professionals develop in their careerTo have 2 years of direct supervisory people management experience in an operations organization (Preferred)A bachelors degree and/or equivalent years of management experience (Preferred)Pay Transparency StatementThis is a hybrid position based out of our Lehi office with the expectation of being in office at least two weekdays per week. #LI-hybridThe actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location qualifications experience and internal addition to the salary you will be eligible for 35000 stock options and benefits like health insurance 401k and paid time off.
