JOB DESCRIPTION

Senior Technical Lead

This role is a unique hybrid of remote administrative logistics and high-stakes, on-site hardware handling. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of highly confidential silicon chipsfrom initial shipping documentation to specialized packaging and physical delivery to engineering labs.

San Diego, CA (Priority P0); Palo Alto, CA (Priority P1); Bangalore, India.

Type

Managed Service Contract (Phased Deployment).

Key Responsibilities

Phase 1: Remote Shipping & Documentation ("The Easy Part")

  • Generate comprehensive handling guides for delicate silicon components.
  • Create accurate shipping labels and manage outbound documentation.
  • Coordinate logistics schedules to ensure seamless transit between global sites.

Phase 2: Fast Value Added Service (VAS) & Specialized Handling

  • Inbound Processing: Receive and scan highly confidential silicon chips into tracking systems.
  • Specialized Packaging: Execute airtight, ESD-safe packaging protocols to maintain component integrity.
  • Secure Storage: Manage the localized storage of chips under strict confidentiality and environmental guidelines.

Phase 3: Last-Mile Lab Delivery

  • Physical Distribution: Drive and deliver processed/tested chips to various campus buildings and labs.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Interface directly with hardware engineers to hand off critical components.
  • Access Management: Maintain authorized access to restricted lab environments and secure office zones.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

DG Certification: Must be certified in the handling and transport of Dangerous Goods (DG).

System Proficiency: Expert-level ability to navigate Seeker and GUTS (or similar inventory/ticketing systems), particularly in offline or manual-entry scenarios.

Handling Expertise: Experience with "small box" logistics rather than bulk freight; high manual dexterity for handling fragile silicon.

Mobility: Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to travel between local office clusters.

Security Clearance: Ability to maintain high-level confidentiality regarding proprietary hardware.
