Our team researches innovates and creates solutions that deliver healthy results for our customers.Job Purpose and Impact The Technical Support position willleadthe completion of routine analytical and laboratory testing of customer this role you willreceiveprepare testsamplesdocument results of tests and communicatethose results(LIMS). You will also check and monitor the instruments and equipment thatisused during the testing process.Key Accountabilities Receiveprepareand processsamplefor laboratory but not limited to database entry upon sample receipt samplegrindingand sample scanningPerform routine instrument diagnostics and preventative maintenance activities. Assist with equipment troubleshooting and repair as required.Perform a variety of laboratory analyzes including physical chemical physical-chemical tests (NIR XRF ICP Spectrophotometer titrations Gravimetry ELISA enzymatic assays and others)Assist in onboarding of new analytical assays and assist in method development.Conduct complex inspections for sample properties utilizing laboratory equipment and various analytical methods.Understand andcomply withsafety regulations and other procedural compliance campus safety provide a safe work environment for self and others.Maintain inventory management for laboratorychemicalsconsumablesand samples.Interpret and document results of all tests and internallycommunicatesresults asrequired(LIMS).Provide leadership coachingtrainingand mentoring to team members.Workin accordance withgood laboratory practices.Handle complex clerical administrativetechnicalor customer support issues under minimal supervision while escalating only the most complex issues toappropriate support for data quality and database tools such as SharePoint to track and follow up on customer issues.Other duties as assignedQualifications Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma secondary education level or equivalent.Minimum of four years of related work experience.PC and MS Office competence.Preferred QualificationsBachelors degree.Experience with email spreadsheet presentation and word processing applications.Proven experience in production related work.Position Information Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.Location: Elk River MinnesotaAllergy Statement: Applicants should be aware that the laboratory contains potential allergens including peanuts tree nuts fish gluten dairy grasses/forages etc. The expected salary for this position is $24 - $28. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location certifications education and level of experience.
