Summary of This RoleProvide accurate and timely technical information advice and assistance regarding the organizations product and services. Respond to inquiries from clients; understand their technical questions assess their needs and suggests or promote solutions that may include alternative products or services. Undertake research and develop proposal to new solutions to solve technical problems and follow-up on the status of outstanding issues. Use databases or other computerized systems to maintain up-to-date documentation.We are experiencing growth and are seeking energetic enthusiastic smart talented people-oriented professional to join our Global Product Support team and work within a group of technical support engineers who are focused on helping customers be successful adopting and using Inspyrus software.JOB DESCRIPTIONProviding quality and timely support to customers per the severity of the issue and the contractual SLA in a fast pace environmentTriage troubleshoot and resolve problems reported by customersDebug and test SQL queries that integrate with external data sourcesRespond to and resolve alerts received from our monitoring tool in a timely mannerHave professional written and verbal interactions with customers detailing out solutions to their needsTake ownership of technical issues and work with our services or development groups to resolve complex / advanced issues when necessaryCreate knowledge-based articles and documentation to help other support team members and customers help themselvesWork with our services development and product management teams to help communicate customer needs and urgencyDESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERTISEThe successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise):Strong SQL and PL/SQL skillsExcellent analysis debugging and trouble-shooting skills and persistence in problem solvingStrong problem-solving skills ability to think through complex problems and come up with creative remediation solutionsStrong analytical capabilityExperience with Oracle Webcenter Capture & Forms Recognition Unix/Linux Oracle DB SQL Developer toolsExperience using APIs such as REST and SOAPExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong drive and self-guidance for doing what is right for our customersAdaptable to new processes methods and toolsREQUIRED EXPERIENCEHands-on experience with SQL PL/SQL SQL DeveloperHands-on experience with Unix/Linux including searching log filesHands-on experience using Issue Tracking/Management system like JIRAPreferred Experience Oracle Fusion MiddlewareOracle WebCenter Imaging Java a plus.QUALIFICATIONSBachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.Will have to work a rotating on call schedule Thurs afternoon- Sunday afternoon as part of the team.This is a US based role only.Global Payments Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.Global Payments provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race color religion sex (including pregnancy) national origin ancestry age marital status sexual orientation gender identity or expression disability veteran status genetic information or any other basis protected by law.
