Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSenior Test TechnicianHere is a glimpse of what you’ll do:Support hot gas testing (turbo and EGR/intake valve)Support durability testingSupport vehicle testingRun and maintain and troubleshoot test equipment and instrumentation: mechanical, electric, and hydraulic systemsMonitor durability testing and equipmentEvaluate results, communicate findings, ensure quality of resultsInstrument test parts and run instrumented testsMaintain a neat and clean workspaceHere is some of what you’ll need (required):Experience in diesel fuel injection testingExperience in remanufacturing processesDiesel engine repairWork with little or no supervision and take additional responsibilitiesExperience with complex measurement systems and instruments Here are skills and abilities we would like for you to have (preferred):5 years of experience in a testing or laboratory environmentStrong background in engines, engine electronics, machining, hydraulics and mechanical systemsGood math skills, including an understanding of the metric and inch systems with an understanding of application to fasteners, threads, etc.Minimum of a High School Diploma or GEDGood computer skills in Microsoft Applications, with the ability to learn other programsStanadyne is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, sex, gender, color, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status or any other protected class.
