As we expand our API ecosystem and integrate with more enterprise partners, we’re looking for a Senior API Integration Engineer who can architect reliable, scalable, and secure integrations across our platform.This is a hands-on technical position for someone who deeply understands how applications communicate across an ecosystem. You’ll own complex integration initiatives from planning to delivery, serve as a technical mentor to other engineers, and represent the integration practice across teams. What You’ll DoArchitect, design, and develop integration solutions that connect the iVueit API platform with enterprise clients, partners, and internal systems.Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, QA, and external stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical integration designs.Validate integration workflows through comprehensive testing using tools such as Postman and automated testing frameworks.Diagnose and resolve complex integration issues across distributed systems and APIs.Produce detailed technical documentation covering design decisions, implementation steps, testing procedures, and deployment guidance.Continuously research modern integration patterns, cloud technologies, and best practices to improve long-term system reliability.Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on integration design, coding best practices, and cross-platform communication.Lead medium to large engineering initiatives, keeping workstreams aligned, unblock teams, and ensure integrations are delivered efficiently and sustainably.EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.Experience7–9 years of hands-on experience building software applications and APIs.7–9 years working across the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.7–9 years of deep debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning experience.Skills & Technical StrengthsAdvanced proficiency with AWS cloud services, tooling, and infrastructure.Strong experience building and deploying APIs, ideally using GoLang or Dart.High proficiency with Postman for API testing and validation.Power user of AI Productivity tools like Cursor or Claude. Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and relational database design, plus familiarity with other database technologies.Ability to navigate and debug distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.What You’ll BringThe mindset of a system architect who sees the bigger picture of how apps interact.A structured, disciplined approach to building integrations that scale.A mentoring attitude—someone who elevates the productivity and technical acumen of the whole team.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.Ownership mentality and pride in delivering high-quality technical solutions.If you’re passionate about building powerful API ecosystems and want to help shape the future of iVueit’s integrations, we’d love to meet you. Powered by JazzHRywBZEDabr0
