Primary responsibility is team leadership serving as a software manager and software architect for the overall software and secondary responsibility is providing individual software development contributions. To explore and learn more click here!Are you ready to make an impact Share your resume with us today!Primary ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance to internal software quality policy processes and procedures as well as support corporate auditsWork closely with a team of sub-system software leads to coordinate software development and integration tasking priorities to ensure system successLead the overall software development for multiple HIL (Hardware Integration Labs) and SILs (Software Integration Labs) that will be used internally and by the customer to develop and test software payloads before deploying the sensor systemProvide weekly status updates to internal leadership and customer leadershipLead weekly software tag up discussions with the integrated software teamManage and oversee the development of system software documentation and overall software deployment strategy to dedicated hardwareParticipate and contribute to on-going software design discussionsBasic QualificationsBachelors in engineering preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution with 12 years of experience in the defense/aerospace industry or 10 with MS degree5 years experience managing technical programs that involve development and production in the defense industry or similar rigorBasic understanding of radar systems and/or integrated sensor systemsExperience leading and conducting technical design reviews and presenting technical reports and materials to customer teamsStrong knowledge of C and object-oriented design principlesStrong software engineering background with experience in defining and enforcing engineering best practices including:configuration managementcoding standardscode reviewstestabilitydesign for reusabilityExperience developing implementing and maintaining APIs and network ICDs for custom hardware electronicsDemonstrated experience working with a team of talented technical employees to develop and integrate software solutions into dedicated computer hardwareExperience supporting system integration and test activities to support verification of system level requirementsMust be a US citizen possess and maintain an active secret clearance.Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville North Alabama AL areaPreferred QualificationsExperience working with HPC (High Performance Computing) hardware such as distributed computing CUDA enabled GPUS high-speed networks and high throughput I/O is beneficialWere not looking for perfectly polished resumes or perfect fits.
