Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst level 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Roy, UT to support the Sentinel (GBSD) Program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Setup, monitoring, and controlling program costs and schedules
- Performing analyses and preparing reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters
- Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work
- Incorporating contract changes into control systems
- Estimate and completion and forecast related activities
- Performing miscellaneous financial analysis as required
Basic Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's degree with 12 years of experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting, Aerospace and Defense, or related professional experience; a Master's degree with 10 years; or 16 years with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) may be accepted in lieu of degree
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
- Requires experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Requires experience with EVMS Software (i.e., SAP, SAP BW, Deltek Cobra, Open Plan, MPM, Acumen One IWO, Primavera P6)
- Requires a minimum 3 years' experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) Principals and applying Earned Value Techniques in an Aerospace & Defense environment
- Requires experience managing and analyzing project costs using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Requires experience supporting contracts with EVMS requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret level security clearance
- Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling
- Extensive Aerospace/Defense Industry experience
- Experience with material cost management
- Extensive Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
- Extensive experience working in Deltek Cobra
- Strong analytical ability
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem solving and organizational skills

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
