Ideal candidates will have superior customer service skills, excellent communication skills, and be able to stay motivated and productive in a fast-paced environment.Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or VW, Audi and German standardsDiagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specificationProvide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairsExplain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customersContinuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.Job Requirements: As an automotive technician you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. we have determined some factors that may enable your success as an automotive technician:Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive technician is preferredHold a minimum of 3 automotive service excellence (ase) certifications is preferredExperience with import products is a plusHold a valid driver’s licenseTeam oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer serviceWorking knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, ac equipment, etc.Benefits:Medical PlansDental PlansVisionLife Insurance Paid by Employer401k Retirement Plan & Employer Match Paid VacationPaid Personal DaysPaid HolidaysEmployee Assistance Program (Family)We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
