Position Overview

The Service Electrician will perform residential and light commercial electrical repairs, maintenance, installations, and replacements while delivering the high-quality service and professionalism customers expect from the Mister Sparky brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial electrical repairs, installations, and upgrades
• Evaluating homes and offices for electrical safety and make safety recommendations to customer as needed
• Ensure all work complies with NEC, state, and local codes
• Pull permits and coordinate inspections as required
• Diagnose complex electrical issues and provide effective solutions
• Supervise, mentor, and support journeyman and apprentice electricians
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship
• Communicate professionally with customers and explain repair or replacement options
• Assist with estimates, job planning, and material selection
• Represent the Mister Sparky brand with professionalism and integrity
• Maintaining proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of residential electrical experience
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
• Strong customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
