JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a full-time HVAC Service Manager to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all operations within the Service department, including scheduling, dispatch, ticket reviews, invoicing, and customer service, while ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards. This role is crucial in meeting established service and Technician performance goals by optimizing labor and scheduling resources within the allocated budget. The Service Manager collaborates closely with the General Manager to develop and recommend policies and procedures that enhance the department's competitive position and profitability. Additionally, the Service Manager directs activities to ensure that deliverables are completed on time and meet quality and cost objectives, ultimately aiming to satisfy customer needs.

What You'll Do:
Ensure standards for service and repair quality, equipment, and operator performance are maintained, and cost-effective technology is used to maximize production; ensure fixed assets are preserved
Develop, monitor, and report on operating costs and performance standards within functional area; alert management of cost and labor overrun; recommend and implement solutions to problems related to same
Ensure deliverables are made according to needs, specifications, and quality standards
Advise Technicians on repair and maintenance issues
Manage effectively budget and controls expenses
Hire, train, develop, and appraise Service department staff effectively, taking corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policies
Remain up to date on information and technology affecting functional area(s) to increase innovation and ensure compliance
Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Responsible for improving Revenue per job/Average ticket, reduction of call backs, increased membership growth, total truck revenue.

What You'll Bring:
High School diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
Strong and in-depth knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
Ability to motivate, manage, and train technicians, installers, and dispatchers
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Computer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Service Titan is helpful
Independent thinker
Five or more years of HVAC industry experience, minimum 4 years in a managerial role
Must have a clean valid driver's license
Effective verbal and written communication skills with superiors, colleagues, subordinates and individuals inside and outside the company
