Learn more at Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Service Manager to join our fire business unit.Primary Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day company service operations.Define and implement operations strategy structure and processes.Monitor performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions.Maintain a working knowledge of all phases of service operations including Service and T&I.Coordinate support to operations throughout the business.Interview hire train and mentor the operations team.Provide regular performance updates to the senior leadership team.Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on service operations projects and systems.Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organizations goals and objectives.Identifies recommends and implements new processes technologies and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing development organization material efficiency hardware acquisitions and facilities are in line with the organizations business plan and vision.Establishes communicates and implements service operations-related policies practices standards and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.Reviews and approves cost-control reports cost estimates and staffing requirements for projects.Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the Company leadership.Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.Performs other related duties as assigned.Other Functions:Expense reportingCentral station emailsService emailsTech managementService Tech calls dailyService Vacation Approval / TrackingReview service ticketsResearch & Ordering PartsService ProposalsOver sees schedulingService call preparationField managementTime Card management of field techniciansClient meetingsBasic Qualifications:Trade SchoolWorking knowledge of the fire and life safety businessPreferred Qualifications:Extensive knowledge of Fire Alarm in the NYC Metro areaExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsExtensive knowledge of the principles procedures and best practices in the industryExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareSalary: $140000Disclaimer: This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position.
