Perform all pre-shift and safety inspections of assigned equipment andcomplete daily inspection reports.2. Obey all safety operating and work guidelines.3. Operate equipment in a safe and timely manner.4. Make operating adjustments as necessary to achieve quality and productivitytargets.5. Operate equipment efficiently and complete daily production reports.6. Care of equipment including fueling checking and filling all fluids and otherchecks as needed.7. Report condition of equipment and maintenance needs to the supervisor.8. Keep the assigned piece of equipment clean and in good working condition.9. Other duties within the quarry/washer department as assigned by thesupervisor.Machines & Equipment Involved:Hydraulic mining shovel Front End Loader Backhoe Bulldozer MotorgraderHaul TruckWorking Conditions:Outdoors in various weather conditionsQualifications:Experience:Previous experience in operating machinery and equipment in aquarry environment required.Skills Requirements:1. Ability to efficiently operate and/or perform as at least 5 of the following; Shovel loading trucks Loader loading trucks Backhoe loading trucks Bulldozer Off-road Haul Truck Certified Blaster2. Communications skills including verbal non-verbal listening interpretingand understanding instructions.3. Consulting effectively with coworkers concerning work and schedules.. Ability to work as part of a large team.. Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.. Ability to communicate effectively and to use hand and eyecoordination in the operations of the equipment.Other Required Activities:Sitting climbing stooping lifting checking visual inspection hearing listening and operating in a safe manner according to work instructions.
