Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHVAC Service TechnicianHoly City Heating & Air is looking for Service Technicians who consider themselves among the Best of the Best.Located in Downtown Charleston, we are a full-service heating and air conditioning company specializing in residential and commercial repair, maintenance, and retrofit equipment. We are industry leaders in inverter HVAC technology as both a Daikin Elite Dealer and Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor, offering advanced training and opportunities to work with the latest high-efficiency systems.About the RoleThis position is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of HVAC systems in a timely and professional manner. While we strongly prefer experienced and formally trained technicians, we will also consider candidates with strong mechanical skills, a great attitude, and a willingness to learn.Job RequirementsValid driver’s license with a clean driving record3–5 years of residential HVAC service experienceAbility to use Android/Apple devices for communication and field reportingCommitment to completing all scheduled work each dayFlexibility to work overtime, weekends, and participate in an on-call rotationOrganized, outgoing, positive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong customer-service skills and ability to build client relationshipsAbility to maneuver in attics, crawlspaces, and other confined areasAbility to climb/descend ladders and lift up to 50 lbsHigh school diploma or equivalentTechnician ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and ventilation equipmentIdentify and document maintenance risks and equipment issuesDiagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related faultsPerform clean, high-quality system repairs and warranty servicesRespond promptly and professionally to emergency service callsProvide on-the-job training and technical guidance to junior techniciansMaintain accurate service notes, daily logs, and required documentationEnsure all work complies with codes, OSHA standards, and manufacturer guidelinesFollow company procedures, service standards, and customer requirementsAssist customers by answering questions and explaining system performanceExperienceHVAC Service: 3–5 years (Preferred)Job TypeFull-timeCompensationHourly pay + Commission opportunities$25.00 – $35.00 per hour, based on experience and performanceAdditional earning potential through commissions and tips.Benefits401(k)401(k) matchingHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offProfessional development and ongoing technical trainingSchedule8-hour shiftOn-call rotationWeekends as needed
