Service Technical Support (Swing) at TEKBERRY

Title: Mechanical Calibration Technician Pay Rate: $31/hr- $33/hr DOE Benefits include health dental and vision Employment Type: Contract Schedule: Swing Shift 2pm-10:30pm Location: Santa Rosa CA 95401 Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Mechanical Calibration Technician to work on-site with our client a top-tier Fortune 500 electronics company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits. The Service Technical Support candidate will support Keysight manufactured test equipment. Responsibilities: Mechanical measurement of precision milled and turned sub-miniature high frequency electronic parts to ensure functionality and accuracy. Perform inspection of sub-assemblies or final assemblies of Keysight products. Interprets prints manufacturing drawings and/or diagrams in approving or rejecting in-process or final assemblies. Maintains records and/ or databases. Working within the designated area of expertise the candidate will clarify analyze develop and implement actions and solutions while supporting Keysight technicians and NPI Engineers. Qualifications: GD&T experience is a MUST. 4 years of related measurement and inspection experience is strongly preferred. Ability to read blueprints. Basic understanding of mechanical metrology hand tool usage. Experience using automated software platforms is a plus. Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a must. Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine and Optical Surface Profilers preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills and demonstrates electronic and mechanical competence. Works with clearly defined objectives. Exercises good discretion in the use of time and other Keysight resources. Maintains high workmanship standards and delivers on commitments.
