Once coming on board youll attend a 7-week paid training program held at our corporate office in Bloomington MN. This program will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for long-term success in the field.What Youll DoAs a Service Technician Apprentice you will learn to:Maintain troubleshoot and repair a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment and appliances at customer locationsFollow all safety policies and procedures including proper PPE useUse tools to diagnose and repair gas electrical water refrigeration and steam-powered equipmentIdentify common commercial kitchen and HVAC parts and understand basic electrical and related principlesCommunicate professionally with customers and team members regarding repairs and service statusUtilize service software and communication tools to provide quality serviceWhat We Need from YouMechanical Electrical HVAC or related background or experience A desire to learn and build a career in the commercial kitchen service industryMust be at least 18 years of ageValid Drivers license and driving record that aligns with our safety standardsCompletion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is requiredGeneral Parts Group is an equal opportunity employer.
