Service Technician Colonnade at Kentlands at WPM Real Estate Management

Colonnade at Kentlands located in Gaithersburg MD is in need of a qualified worker to join our service team. This person will be expected to respond to maintenance work orders of the community scheduling contractors and oversight of contractors in conjunction with the on-site manager. . Ideal candidates will work well both with a team and individually. Excellent customer service skills required; some prior experience in maintenance is preferred.**Hourly rate is $25 an hour**Schedule is Monday through Friday: 9am to 5pm with on-call responsibilitiesEssential Functions:Responsible for the overall maintenance of the community including trash removal from common area receptables.Identify and resolve all maintenance issue including scheduling contractors and oversight of contractors in conjunction with the onsite manager.Performs plumbing work such as cleaning stoppages and replacingMaintains cleanliness order and safety at the community.Assists in outdoor grounds work when necessary including grounds policing and snowParticipates in on-call schedule for evenings weekends and holidayPerforms other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge Skills and Abilities:Ability to present a positive professional demeanor by encompassing WPM Brand Compass ValuesAbility to operate PC and learn new software.Ability to communicate effectively with homeowners associates and clientsExcellent time management and prioritization skillsValid drivers license and vehicleAble to troubleshoot minor electrical problems within various types of fixtures andRequired to work indoors on ladders scaffolding or lifts as well as outdoors.Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent5 years of maintenance experience preferred#IND2Required Experience:IC Key Skills Mechanic Experience,Pest Control,Customer Service,Hand Tools,HVAC,Mechanical Knowledge,Automotive Repair,Service Technician Experience,Maintenance,Heavy Lifting,Equipment Repair,Troubleshooting Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
