Job Summary:Hog Slat Inc. the worlds leading provider of parts equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking aService Technicianwith excellent customer service skills and experience in electrical plumbing and mechanical systems to join the team at ourLAURINBURG NClocation.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.Work with Hog Slat customers to understand their repair needsGive customers recommendations on the best parts & equipment available at Hog Slat with which their needs can be addressedRepair/replace faulty parts & equipment in area poultry facilitiesProperly bill customers for service work hoursWork with the Hog Slat in-store team to manage warranty claimsTake advantage of training opportunities offered by Hog Slat Inc. and by its vendorsSkill/Knowledge Required:The ideal candidate will have the following experience/educational background:Ability to use tools associated with the repair of electrical plumbing and mechanical systemsApproved safe driving recordFamiliarity with the poultryindustries and the poultry producers in the areaKnowledge of parts and equipment used in modern poultry facilitiesAt least 2 years of prior experience repairing and replacing electrical and mechanical equipmentPrior experience working with the systems found in modern poultry facilities (eg. ventilation feeding/watering heating) is preferredHog Slat Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race color gendersexual orientation gender identity religion national origin age disability veteran status or any other reason prohibited under Federal State or local laws.
