This role involves performing a variety of tasks that support the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. ResponsibilitiesAssist in the installation of tiles, doors, trim and cabinets as part of remodeling projects.Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.Perform drywall, caulking, construction painting, and other finishing work to enhance project aesthetics.Collaborate with team members to build structures according to specifications.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. RequirementsPrevious experience in construction is mandatory.Familiarity with tile laying, door hanging, cabinet installation, remodeling, caulking, drywall and construction painting required.Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely; knowledge of safety practices in a construction environment is essential.Strong physical stamina; ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues on-site.A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and taking on additional responsibilities as needed.Join our team today and contribute your skills to exciting construction projects while growing your expertise in the industry!Job Type: Sub Contractor Schedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekends as needed Experience: Construction: 5 years (Required) Ability to Commute: Norfolk, VA 23505 (Required)
