JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Service Technician / Mechanic to join our team! You will assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing gyroscopic yacht stabilizer systems.
We are the local dealers for Seakeeper-the leading yacht gyro stabilizer system. The position comes with opportunities for advancement, as business is only growing. For the right candidate, this is an opportunity to learn valuable and specialized skills in one of the fastest-growing sectors of the yachting industry.
Hands-on, then factory training will be provided. A solid general understanding of tools and a real interest in machinery is expected, and a modest set of quality personal everyday-carry hand tools is assumed.
We need a dedicated, reasonably amicable, punctual employee who values a clean, organized work environment and keeps things professional, especially in front of customers. The right employee will be working towards performing service calls independently, all over the San Diego waterfront onboard yachts of all sizes. Having your own transport (expenses compensated) is preferred but not a deal breaker.
We have positions available in this business, for all experience levels and intend to compensate well anyone who performs and wants to make it work.
There would be a 90-day trial period, so we can both decide if it's a good fit.

Qualifications:
- Electrical experience is a plus but not required
- Marine experience is a plus but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
