Learn more atPavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Service Technician to join our fire business unit.Primary Responsibilities:Service Troubleshoot & program burglar alarms fire alarms closed circuit television & access control systems.Ensure equipment is functional and operationalDiagnose causes of problems or failures in systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and systems repairReplace system components as assigned; panels audible/visual alarms etc.Provide technical support to customers including remote phone diagnosis and troubleshooting of signal issues related to formats and receiversInteract professionally with customersCoordinate with Manager and dispatcher for the purpose of completing service and work orders efficientlyInform dispatcher and or manager the status of service to take appropriate actionPerform test and inspect fire alarm systemsMaintains assigned vehicle tools and equipment.Basic Qualifications:Basic knowledge of national and local alarm codes including NFPA 72 NEC & Florida Building CodeMust be able to demonstrate responsibility in being on time regular consistent work attendance good communication and completing all necessary field documentation as neededThe ability to carry and climb step/extension ladders where needed and lift objects up to 50 pounds when neededHS Diploma or GEDValid Driver Licenses requiredMust be able to demonstrate basic computer/tablet skillsPreferred Qualifications:NICET CertificationManufacturer certifications preferred (ex.
