Our Service Technicians are service experts who are responsible for efficiently troubleshooting and repairing a variety of low-voltage systems while delivering a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.Key Responsibilities:Must have the ability to clearly communicate with customers verbally and in writingTroubleshoot and repair multiple systems including Access Control, Fire, Burglar, Intercom and IP Video systemsWork independently to execute multiple work orders throughout the work dayPerform inspections and system testsMust be able to maintain a clean and safe worksiteMaintain accurate time and expense entries with well-written notesKeep an accurate record of vehicle inventoryEnsure departmental daily records are maintained and accurateCleary demonstrates a safety mindset in all actionsOther duties assignedRequirements:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a mustPrevious service-based field experience a plusAbility to de-escalate stressful situationsMinimum one year of experience installing Access Control, Fire, Burglar Systems, or IP Video SurveillanceMust have an understanding of basic networkingAbility to troubleshoot with a multi-meterSelf-motivated to achieve day-to-day tasks independentlyAbility to read blueprints and electrical schematicsAbility to climb ladders and operate a scissor liftAbility to provide the necessary troubleshooting skills for a variety of systemsAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or scheduled formValid driver’s License with a good driving recordTechnical trade school education is a plus, but not requiredCompensation & Benefits:Hourly Pay Range: $24.00 – $38.00 (based on experience and qualifications)401(k) with Company MatchMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability CoveragePaid Vacation and Time OffTuition Reimbursement ProgramEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramCompany-Provided Vehicle and Cell PhoneManufacturer Training and CertificationsSupportive and collaborative work environmentWork Schedule:Standard 8-hour shiftsOvertime may be required based on project needsParticipation in on-call rotation as assignedIf you are a motivated technician seeking a long-term opportunity with a company that values innovation, integrity, and customer satisfaction, we encourage you to apply.
