Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform all tasks associated with generating producer settlements on a weekly basis. Pay and collection of receivables. Reviews and audits process for designated locations/operations.
  • Perform all Producer maintenance such as bank assignments, Perdue notes, and personal account activity.
  • Maintain filing related to Producer's contract files and settlement files.
  • Assist in the processing of Ingredient Invoices.
  • Performs Producer File Audits.
  • Coordinates and performs all tasks related to electronic file storage.
  • Provides ad hoc settlement analysis as needed for department.
  • Train to become the fuel backup for both metered fuel and drop billing.

Minimum Education and Experience

Required:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 4 years related experience:

  • Requires PC spreadsheet and data entry skills
  • Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication, administrative and organizational skills

Preferred: Associates degree in Accounting or related discipline is highly preferred.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company. May need to climb ladders.
