Key Responsibilities Perform machine setup and changeovers according to production schedules and specifications. Calibrate and adjust machinery parameters for optimal performance and product quality. Troubleshoot and resolve basic setup-related issues and machine malfunctions. Conduct first-off inspections to verify product conformance after setup. Document setup parameters process adjustments and maintenance logs accurately. Ensure all setup procedures comply with safety regulations and quality standards. Assist in training production operators on new setups and machine operations. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in machine setup changeovers and adjustments in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools and precision measuring equipment (e.g. calipers micrometers). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and schematics. Solid troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently. Familiarity with relevant manufacturing processes (e.g. CNC machining injection molding stamping). Adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards. Bonus Qualifications Experience with CNC programming or advanced machine operation. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles particularly SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die). Proficiency with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) for interpreting technical drawings.
