Key Responsibilities Perform machine setup changeovers and tooling adjustments for production runs. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical electrical and pneumatic issues during setup and production. Conduct first-piece inspections and verify setup parameters meet quality specifications. Execute preventative maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment. Document setup procedures machine performance and maintenance activities. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize setup times and machine efficiency. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in machine setup changeover and adjustment in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical specifications. Familiarity with quality control tools (e.g. calipers micrometers) and basic troubleshooting. Understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a production setting. Bonus Qualifications Familiarity with PLC diagnostics and basic programming. Experience using CAD/CAM software for reviewing or modifying machine programs. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
