Key Responsibilities Perform precise setup changeovers and adjustments of manufacturing machinery and equipment. Install align and calibrate tooling dies and fixtures according to production specifications. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical electrical and pneumatic issues during setup and production. Conduct first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure product conformance. Execute routine preventative maintenance tasks on machinery to minimize downtime. Interpret blueprints schematics and work instructions to ensure accurate machine configuration. Maintain accurate records of setup parameters maintenance activities and troubleshooting steps. Recommended Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in machine setup and operation within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical specifications. Proficiency with precision measuring tools (e.g. calipers micrometers) and hand tools. Understanding of quality control principles and adherence to safety protocols. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency with CAD/CAM software. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles. Experience with ERP/MES systems. Basic PLC troubleshooting skills.
