Key Responsibilities Perform machine setup and changeovers according to production schedules and specifications. Install adjust and calibrate tooling fixtures and other equipment components. Conduct first-piece inspections and verify product quality and adherence to specifications post-setup. Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues machine malfunctions and process deviations. Optimize machine parameters and processes to improve efficiency yield and product quality. Document setup procedures parameters and maintenance activities. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in machine setup changeovers and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor repairs and adjustments on production equipment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints schematics and technical specifications. Familiarity with precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges) and quality control procedures. Ability to adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in a relevant field preferred. Bonus Qualifications Familiarity with PLC or CNC programming. Experience with CAD/CAM software. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles. Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g. CMM vision systems).
