Craft Module Operator (Sewing Operator)

The primary function of this job is to perform daily operations in the manufacturing of Carhartt products.

Associate responsibilities include performing daily manufacturing operations as required, to include: sewing, repair, cutting, inspect, packing, and shipping of products; maintaining satisfactory quality and production goals and attendance; visually inspecting material during the sewing process to identify defects; adhering to all policies and procedures established by the company; troubleshooting basic machinery problems and requesting service or repairs as needed; demonstrating and encouraging safe work practices at all times; and working overtime when necessary.

Required education is a high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Required skills and experience include basic math and reading skills, excellent attention to detail, and knowledge of sewing operations and ability to perform sewing operations preferred.

Physical requirements and working conditions include strength: lightfrequently; mediumoccasionally; movement: reaching, handling, finger dexterity, feeling; vision; equipment used: office equipment, hand tools, power tools; hazard: proximity; this position has an on-site location: associate will work on-site for all work-related activities.
