Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:Client Solution Architects (CSA) is currently seeking a SharePoint Power Apps Developer to support a program at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, V.A.For nearly 50 years, CSA has delivered integrated technology and operational support services to meet the defense and federal sector's most complex enterprise needs. Working from operations centers and shipyards to training sites and program offices, CSA deploys experienced teams, innovative tools and proven processes to advance federal missions. This position is contingent on award.How Role will make an impact:SharePoint Development and AdministrationDevelop and deploy comprehensive SharePoint solutions, including custom web parts, workflows, lists, libraries, content types, and site collection managementWork with both SharePoint Online and On-Premises environmentsAdminister SharePoint environments with focus on user permissions, security protocols, and governance frameworksConfigure and manage SharePoint sites, document management systems, and collaboration solutionsUtilize SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and Power Automate for workflow automation and process improvementPower Apps DevelopmentCreate custom Power Apps solutions using both Canvas and Model-driven app architecturesDesign and implement Power Automate workflows to streamline business processesIntegrate workflows with external data sources including SQL databases, SharePoint, and third-party APIsConnect Power Apps to various data sources and leverage Common Data Service (CDS)Implement complex business rules and logic within applicationsTechnical Tools and FrameworksDemonstrate proficiency in SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for developing modern client-side solutionsApply knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular in SharePoint and Power Apps environmentsUtilize REST APIs, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery for custom web part development and app integrationsBuild responsive, user-friendly interfaces that meet modern web standardsTroubleshooting and MaintenanceDiagnose and resolve issues within SharePoint environments and Power Apps solutionsPerform performance optimization, error diagnosis, and system resolution tasksConduct regular system maintenance and updates to ensure stability, security, and availabilityMonitor system performance and implement preventive measuresRequirements:What you’ll need to have to join our award-winning team:Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret ClearanceBachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering) OR Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ or better) AND four (4) years of relevant experience as described above.Seven (7) years of experience as a SharePoint Developer or Power Apps DeveloperAt least three (3) years of specialized experience in developing and administering SharePoint solutions and Power Apps applicationsWhat Sets you apart:Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer AssociateMicrosoft Certified: SharePoint DeveloperRelated Microsoft Power Platform or SharePoint certifications
