As a Sheet Metal Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of commercial HVAC systems, duct installation, and sheet metal work in various commercial construction projects. Your expertise in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and technical drawings will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and quality of the work. Responsibilities: 1. Supervising and leading a team of skilled workers in the installation of commercial HVAC systems and ductwork. 2. Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and assembly. 3. Monitoring and maintaining high productivity levels within your team, ensuring projects are completed within the stipulated time frame and budget. 4. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards, promoting a safe and healthy work environment. 5. Coordinating with other construction teams and project managers to ensure smooth project execution. 6. Conducting regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure the highest standards of workmanship. 7. Training and mentoring new team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a strong focus on commercial HVAC systems, duct installation, and sheet metal work. 2. Proven experience as a Foreman, with a track record of leading teams to success. 3. Extensive knowledge of commercial construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards. 4. The ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings accurately. 5. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a strong ability to motivate and manage a team. 6. A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and make effective decisions under pressure. 7.
