Representative of the spirit of Christ as an encourager while helping our guests move on to productive and independent living. Shelters Reset Coordinationa. Coordinate with the Maintenance and Housekeeping to prepare the Shelters for daily operation. Upkeep work order follow-up.b. Daily inspection of the Shelters ready to servec. Inventory managementa. Organizing donationsb. Coordinating replenishment of the shelters with suppliesd. Coordinate Shelter closure with 3rd shift team memberse. Maintain enforcement of shelter policies/processes for safety, security and health of guests, team members, volunteers and communityf. Work with individual and group volunteers to train and assist2. Shelter Services - Point of Contacta. Rescue Mission departments in need of shelter assistanceb. Case management support for guestsc. Partner with Shelter CHW and Volunteer Coordinator3. MO2S & Employed Guests Coordinatora. Recruit and manage MO2S volunteers, including assignments and supervisor supportb. Monitor extended stay accommodation for employed guests with special circumstances4. Administrative responsibilitiesa. Include completion of records/documents, inspections, incident reports, medication distribution, phone calls, supply maintenance.1. Safety is everyones responsibilitya. Be aware of safety/security concerns and report to the appropriate person(s).b. Weekly inspections of facility and report to appropriate people.c. Assist with conflict resolution/de-escalation among clients, team members and volunteers according to established procedures.5. Volunteer Engagement: A strategy that builds the capacity of Rescue Mission through employee and volunteer partnership. It is built on the development and implementation of high-impact, meaningful volunteer opportunities that create positive outcomes for the organization and the volunteer.6. All Rescue Mission of Roanoke team members may be asked to complete other duties as assigned by the leadership/management.
