This position will require working in confined spaces elevated levels climbing ladders and stairs all while working in hot and cold environments. The qualified applicant must be willing to work weekends holidays rotating shifts scheduled and unscheduled overtime as well as ensure the teams success by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on steel mill equipment and systems which include the following:Troubleshooting and repairsCooperating with and supporting operationsAggressively pursuing process improvements and innovative solutions to challengesAssisting with documentation and training for all equipmentWorking with teams in any area of our millSafety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications: 1. 3 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.2. Fundamental Electrical Theory knowledge.Preferred Qualifications: 1. Two or four year technical degree or equivalent work experience in related field2.
