Shift FitterJob no: Work type: Full TimeLocation: Melbourne - NorthAs a Maintenance Fitter at Visy youll be responsible for ensuring safe efficient and cost-effective operations by maintaining equipment supporting your team and driving continuous improvement. Youll also play a key role in upholding product quality and collaborating across departments to deliver operational targets.Assisting to formulate action plans and driving continuous improvement with systems to ensure they are efficient transparent and deliver required results.Plant to compliant relevant OHS&E legislation.Maintain processes that ensure product quality meets customer expectations.Develop or improve systems/Audits to ensure the highest standard of Housekeeping and Safety is maintained.Ensure appropriate compliance audits are conducted and issues arising from these audits to be rectified in a timely manner and documented to ensure zero non-conformance.Monitoring all outgoing material to ensure quality compliance.What you will bring to the team: Trade qualifiedAbility to read and understand engineering drawingsHands on Practical experience in a maintenance environmentMechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.Strong time management skills.Ability to train othersForklift license desirableWhat youll love when you join us:Shift incentives and stability.Employee Assistance Program (EAP) support.You will help power a sustainable future by keeping critical recycling operations running smoothly while most of the world sleepsAbout VisyVisy is powering the circular economy closing the loop between packaging remanufacturing and recycling.
