Job Responsibilities:A shift lead is in charge of providing direct supervision to the squad independently along with as part of the supervisory team at Smalls. Their duties include covering for employee absences, managing cash, deploying the squad and resolving problems that occur during their shift.Job Duties:Deploying squad members based on pre-determined shift schedules for squad membersMonitoring attendance and tardiness during shiftAssigning duties to specific employees based on role and skillsSupervising employees and assisting with tasks as necessaryAssist with training new and current squad members on tasksHandling or escalating customer issues and managing conflictsAdhering to company policies and health, safety and employment standardsBalancing cash drawers and preparing cash depositsOther duties as assignedJob Qualifications:Experience running shifts in fast paced environmentAbility to communicate duties and expectations effectivelyGuest concern resolution experience a plusExperience training a plusCash handling/management skillsAcquire or already have a Manager food safety card within 30 days of employmentMust have reliable transportationMust be over the age of 18EEO Statement: We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
