The food is all fresh every day, everything is made that morning."YOUR ROLE AS A TAZIKI'S SHIFT LEADER:Serving guests and making meaningful connections with themOpening & closing tasksBeing responsible for the restaurant and the team when a manager isn't on dutySetting the tone for the shift and giving clear, calm directions to your team about their dutiesMastering menu and product knowledgeSupporting or working stations when needed (including kitchen)Prepping food and doing side workFollowing proper cash handling and payment proceduresMaintaining Health Department Standards throughout each shiftFollowing proper Alcohol Handling policies and proceduresProper food handling and storage of food productsMaintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearanceTHE IDEAL TEAM MEMBER:Must be 21 years of agePrior food service experience preferredStrong leadership, guest service, and verbal communication skills with guests/team membersAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple tasks and prioritiesAbility to follow instructions and adhere to policies and proceduresEnergetic, ready to learn, loves fresh foodAble to work a flexible scheduleDependable, reliable, and trustworthyALL EMPLOYEES MUST:Understand and abide by all company standards and policies (provided in your handbook)Obtain a Food Manager's certification shortly after beginning employmentYOUR WORKING CONDITIONS/HOURS:A typical workday at Taziki's may look like:Hours will vary by store.You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment, which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer, and food processor.YOUR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS(with or without a reasonable accommodation):Walking/standing for extended periodsReachingBendingLifting/carrying up to 30 poundsWipingTwistingCookingTaziki's is an Equal Opportunity Employer
