Shift Supervisor, Janitorial Services at ABM

Description The Janitorial Account Supervisor is responsible for overseeing janitorial operations at assigned client locations. This role ensures high-quality cleaning services compliance with safety standards and excellent customer satisfaction. The Account Supervisor manages staff scheduling training and performance while maintaining strong client relationships and operational efficiency.Pay: $19.00/hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABMs benefits visitABM Employee Benefits Staff & ManagementEssential FunctionsSupervise janitorial staff including hiring training and performance evaluations.Develop and maintain work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and timely completion of tasks.Inspect facilities regularly to ensure cleaning standards and client expectations are met.Respond promptly to client requests and resolve service issues effectively.Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order as needed.Ensure compliance with company policies OSHA regulations and safety procedures.Maintain accurate records of employee attendance work orders and inspections.Assist with budgeting and cost control for assigned accounts.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Minimum RequirementsEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.Minimum 23 years of supervisory experience in janitorial or facility services.Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and customer service abilities.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts effectively.Other RequirementsMust be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.Physical ability to stand walk and lift up to 25 lbs.Basic computer skills for scheduling and reporting.Required Experience:Manager Key Skills Air Freight,Land Survey,Actuarial,Drafting,HAAD RN,Life Science Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
