Chef Matt Baker, owner and executive chef of Lucille’s, is seeking dedicated, energetic hospitality professionals to join our Support Team. At this modern, upscale steakhouse, where premium cuts, polished service, and genuine hospitality come together, you’ll work alongside a team of seasoned culinary and front-of-house professionals to help create exceptional, memorable dining experiences for every guest. You should have experience in a full-service restaurant, preferably fine dining or an upscale concept and be eager to support servers, bartenders, and managers in maintaining the high standards that define Lucille’s. Whether you are a busser, food runner, or barback, you will be expected to work with precision, teamwork, and a strong sense of hospitality. Position Summary The Support Team plays a crucial role in maintaining the pace, cleanliness, organization, and overall smooth operation of the restaurant. Bussers assist with table turnover and cleanliness, Food runners ensure accurate and timely delivery of dishes, and Barbacks support bartenders to keep the bar fully stocked and running efficiently. Together, this team helps uphold the elevated service standards Lucille’s is known for. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Bussers Maintain clean and organized dining areas by resetting tables efficiently and with attention to detail. Assist servers by clearing plates, refilling water, and supporting guest needs throughout service. Monitor dining room cleanliness, polish silverware, stock stations, and ensure readiness for each shift. Food Runners Deliver food to tables accurately, promptly, and with polished presentation. Communicate clearly with servers and kitchen staff to ensure correct dishes, modifications, and timing. Describe dishes when necessary and ensure all items are delivered hot, complete, and correctly presented. Barbacks Support bartenders by restocking liquor, mixers, ice, garnishes, and glassware throughout service. Maintain a clean, organized bar environment, including equipment, surfaces, and storage areas. Assist with juicing, prep, keg changes, and overall bar readiness for each shift. All Support Roles Work collaboratively with the entire front-of-house team to maintain a smooth, high-energy service. Follow all sanitation, safety, and operational standards. Anticipate the needs of servers, bartenders, and guests, stepping in proactively to support. Maintain professionalism, efficiency, and a positive attitude during busy periods. Qualifications Previous experience in a full-service restaurant; upscale or fine-dining experience preferred. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Must be able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
