Shipper / Receiver - Parts DepartmentLOCATION: Chicago (Elmhurst) IllinoisOPENINGS: 1 AvailableTYPE: Full-Time (Monday-Friday Dayshift)COMPENSATION: $21.00-$28.00/hour; based on experience licenses and certifications Annual performance reviews/increase opportunities Premium health insurance benefits Paid Time Off (Vacation & Personal) Company Paid Holidays 401(k) Employer Match Program SUMMARY:The Shipper Receiver will be focused on the shipping and receiving of equipment parts to customers in a timely and accurate manner in alignment with department procedures. The Shipper Receiver will also assist with the daily operations of the parts department by sourcing and providing parts to the shop and assisting with parts inventory duties. The Shipper Receiver will be responsible for ensuring a clean organized and safe warehouse. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Process/facilitate the shipment of product to customers in a timely and accurate manner Load and unload delivery trucks Receive locate and stock parts and sort stock receivablesPick and provide parts to Technicians in alignment using department processes Maintain a clean organized and safe warehouse and work areaMaintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves scanning inventory and parts counting accuratelyComplete daily cycle countsDeliver or pick up parts locally as required (in company vehicle) Process shop parts warranty parts and vendor returns Assist in some general facility maintenance Provide additional warehouse backup support as requiredComplete additional tasks as assigned ABOUT YOU: Knowledge of heavy equipment parts is an asset Ability to work well in a warehouse environment and meet daily deadlines Demonstrated team player and willing to assist others when required Strong verbal and written communicationProficient with computersMust be able to lift up to 49lbs. on a frequent basis Must be able to stand walk and work on concrete/hard surfaces most of shift POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GED preferred Valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstractMust be able to pass a pre-employment background check Forklift license considered an asset 5 years experience in a Shipper Receiver role or position in a parts department preferredSAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Employees must:Work in compliance with the appropriate safety legislation/regulations/safety policiesReport any known workplace hazard or safety violationsCooperate with their workplaces Safety Committee or health and safety representativeUse any safety equipment protective devices or clothing required Not remove or make ineffective any protective device required by the Company or by the regulationsOTHER DETAILS Travel Expectations: 2% - 5% locally for deliveries as requiredIf you are looking for a new opportunity then we welcome your application.
