We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team.
Job Summary Shipping and Receiving Associate
- Implement the Order Fulfillment Process steps related to the preparation of shipments and related documentation to ensure the complete satisfaction of the customer's requirements.
- Knowledge of various items in stock; ability to select appropriate type and size of container; using appropriate packing material to prevent breakage or damage; closing and sealing containers; applying labels or entering identifying data on container.
- Experience with UPS, FedEx, customer portals, and international paperwork.
Key Responsibilities Shipping and Receiving Associate
- Prepare product for shipment to the customer by inspecting, labeling and packaging product according to standard procedures.
- Confirm correct quantity/counts against work order or packing slip.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A High School Diploma/GED OR related experience.
- Ability to read production or shipping documents.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing industry is preferred.
Work Environment Shipping and Receiving Associate
- This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
- The position involves repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required.
