Immediately hiring! Seeking to hire full time Shipping And Receiving Clerk for this manufacturing company located in the Newtown, PA area. In this role, you will ensure the smooth and efficient handling of materials and parts, supporting our operations and delivering exceptional customer service. Prior shipping and receiving experience, working in a manufacturing environment, will be required for this role. Other skills include being comfortable using inventory management or ERP systems to keep track of inventory, and UPS online shipping system knowledge. This is a long term and full time position looking to hire now.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily receiving of incoming materials and repairs.
• Package actuators, spare parts, and parts orders for shipment and make carrier arrangements as necessary.
• Provide assistance with constructing skids and crates for finished drive assemblies.
• Coordinate carrier arrangements to meet customer delivery and carrier requests.
• Interact with other departments and outside carriers to support shipping and receiving functions.

Essential Skills

• 3 to 5 years of previous related shipping and receiving experience.
• Proven skills in fabricating skids and crates.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to prioritize work assignments.
• Sound judgment in shipping and receiving related issues.
• Basic computer skills and experience with the UPS online shipping system.
• Familiarity with basic packaging techniques and equipment such as pneumatic staplers, nail guns, and pallet trucks.
• Knowledge and proficiency in using fork trucks.
• Experience with coordinating carrier arrangements.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Newtown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
