Job Description

We are seeking a career-minded shipping and receiving clerk to join our team. The clerk will assist with daily shipping and receiving operations documentation and collaboration across departments to ensure accurate and timely product delivery.Duties:Including but not limited to:Package and ship products according to customer specificationsDetermine container requirements to ensure safe deliveryPlan disposition of incoming productsProcess packing slips bills of lading export paperwork and expedite ordersCollaborate with sales manufacturing and quality teams on product or customer issuesReceive incoming materials purchase orders and raw materials per quality standardsConduct daily operations in a safe and team-oriented environmentVerify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipmentsCompare identifying information counts weights or measurements against bills of lading invoices or ordersAssemble or select containers and insert items for shipmentLabel stencil or glue shipping information on cartons or cratesMaintain inventory of shipping materials and suppliesUse SAP to monitor workload prioritize shipments and document inventory and shipment transactionsPerform clerical tasks such as data entry correspondence and filingAssume Shipping Lead duties during the leads absenceCheck accuracy of engineering sales and manufacturing input to ensure products meet customer quality standardsSupport and implement 5S initiatives quality standards and EHS policiesUphold organizational core valuesQualifications:High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience12 years of hands-on shipping and receiving experienceForklift experience a plus will trainOverhead crane experience a plus will trainExperience with measurement devices requiredCrating or carpentry experience a plus will trainUPS Worldship and export paperwork experience a plusUnderstanding of SDS/Hazcom shipping regulationsExceptional communication time management and problem-solving skillsInitiative to get things done and attention to detailWork Environment & Physical Demands:Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts vibration and loud noiseOccasional exposure to extreme heat cold and outside weather conditionsRegular standing use of hands reaching talking and hearingOccasional walking climbing stooping kneeling crouching and lifting heavy itemsVision abilities include close vision distance vision color vision depth perception and ability to adjust focusTools & Equipment:Forklift and overhead crane (training and certification provided)SAP software and computer inventory tracking systemsUPS shipping equipment and related documentation toolsSpecialty measuring devices hand tools and shipping suppliesOther:Highly organized and detail-orientedExperience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentScheduling ability and goal-oriented mindsetDrug-free workplace/EOEDisclaimer: Please note that we are unable to provide job sponsorships including but not limited to visas corp-to-corp arrangements (C2C) or any other form of sponsorship for employment.
