Marysville Marine Distributors (MMD) is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our Ohio team. As a leading wholesale distributor of marine engine parts, fuel components, plumbing, steering controls, electrical equipment, oil, and more, MMD supports over 5,000 dealers nationwide across 100+ product lines.

For over 50 years, our mission has remained the same: to provide quality products with the best customer service in the marine industry. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods in and out of our warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience and a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Process daily order shipping and receiving activities
• Complete stock transfers and truck freight shipments
• Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records
• Manage inventory bin locations and warehouse organization
• Replenish warehouse supplies as needed
• Provide sales assistance when required
• Operate lift trucks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment
• Operate PB crimp tools, including diagnosis and repair
• Use stretch wrap banding equipment for shipments
• Inspect and process incoming shipments; reject damaged items and report shortages
• Handle and process defective or returned parts for replacement or credit
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Perform required computer functions to track orders, shipments, and inventory
• Coordinate carrier pickups based on customer shipping requirements
• Support overall warehouse operations and logistics processes

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving role (wholesale distribution preferred)
• Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order processing
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety procedures
