Shipping & Receiving SupervisorReporting To: Customer Service Manager OVERVIEWS/R Supervisor ensures compliance to the Companys AS9100 standards applicable procedures and work instructions; Oversees all daily activities related to incoming and outgoing shipments in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures materials components and finished goods are moved received stored and shipped accurately and efficiently while maintaining safety quality and production standards. Hires and Trains new staff. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate all shipping and receiving operations including scheduling documentation and logistics.Ensure accuracy of all incoming materials and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and shipping documents.Supervise and perform physical inspections of all incoming materials supplies and components to verify quantity quality and accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.Maintain proper inventory control and storage organization within the warehouseWork closely with Production Purchasing Customer Service and Quality Departments to align material flow with manufacturing needs.Oversee the safe and efficient movement storage and staging of materials components finished goods throughout the manufacturing facility.Ensure proper identification labelling and traceability of materials at all stages of production and storageMonitor and manage material handling equipment such as forklifts pallet jacks and the likes.Oversee the scheduling use and maintenance of company vehicles used for material transport deliveries and pick-ups.Ensure the drivers follow company policies traffic laws and safety procedures at all times.Verify that vehicles are inspected regularly for cleanliness mechanical condition and required safetyMonitor fuel usage and implement cost-effective driving and routing practices.Manage carrier relationships and coordinate freight pickups and deliveries.Negotiate and manage carrier schedules shipping rates and service levels.Monitor carrier performance metrics (on-time delivery damage rates cost efficiencies)Prepare and verify all shipping documents including bills of lading packing slips and export paperwork when applicableFamiliar in international shipments with strong understanding of global shipping requirements and customs procedures.Track shipments and proactively communicate delays or exceptions to internal teams and customers.Verify that all shipments meet customer requirements packaging standards labelling accuracy and transport requirements.Train lead and evaluate shipping and receiving staff; promote a safe efficient and team-oriented work environment.Conduct regular meetings to communicate expectations safety reminders schedules and process updates.Ensure compliance with company policies safety procedures and applicable regulatory requirementsLeads process improvements and standardization within the Shipping & Receiving DepartmentQualifications : At least High School diploma or equivalent required.3-5 years of experience in sipping/receiving or warehouse operationsPrior supervisory or leadership experience a must.Strong organizational communication and leadership skillsAbility to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipmentMust understand shipping documentation freight coordination and material handling procedures.CORE COMPETENCIES:Attention to detail and accuracyStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.Team leadership and coaching abilityAdditional Information : Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) StatementAt CoreDux USA we are committed to fostering a diverse equitable and inclusive workplace.
