As part of Carrier Global Corporation Sensitech is committed to innovation sustainability and global impact.About this roleSensitech located in Beverly MA is seeking a dedicated Shipping Associate to join our team.The Shipping Associate is responsible for ensuring all customer orders are shipped accurately completely and on time while adhering to Sensitechs policies and procedures.This is a 1st shift onsite position that may require overtime to meet operational goals and deliver exceptional service to our customers.We value our people and offer an extensive benefits package with financial rewards including health insurance retirement savings plan and also lifestyle support with flexible working and parental leave. Plus well support your growth with paid-for external training programs and courses.Key ResponsibilitiesComplete domestic and international order shipments accurately.Inspect orders for completeness i.e. packing lists certificates specification labels programmed units and proper packaging.Verify accuracy of shipments include correct line items and quantities.Prepare international shipments and coordinate with freight carriers for timely delivery.Schedule freight pickups as required.Perform both virtual and manual shipments to ensure timely delivery.Daily monitor of backlog to confirm all orders have shipped.Complete end-of-day closing activities.Read understand and follow operational procedures.Enter late orders into the ERP system.Collect and process turn-backs/escapes as they occur.Complete allocated tasks from start to finish.Communicate shipping concerns promptly to the Lead or Supervisor.Keep the work area clean organized and compliant with safety standards.Interact with cross-functional teams and foster strong teamwork.Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED6 months of international domestic or LTL shipping experienceBe able to lift bend push and pull up to 50 lbs.Preferred Qualifications Associate degree.Materials management experiencePallet Jack experiencesKnowledge of IATA requirementsComputer literacy and working knowledge of MS Outlook and Excel.ERP systems (SAP or Epicor)Attention to detail and organized.Work with strict deadlines and multiple tasksInterpersonal skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Additional informationMust have unrestricted authorization to work in the USA.
