Through decades of growth innovation and dedication MW Components has proven to be a world-class supplier of custom springs fasteners and precision metal components.JOB SUMMARYThe Shipping and Receiving Associateis responsible forthe processing of all daily shipping and packing activities ensuringtimelydelivery to our customers and processing of purchase orders.REPORTING TOWarehouse SupervisorâESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSShipping:Assist Warehouse Supervisor with incoming and outgoing shipping daily activities to ensure accuracy completeness and condition of shipments.Assist prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule and customer specifications (load pack wrap label ship).Receives reviews unpacksinspectsand stores incoming rework orders from suppliers and/orcustomersreturns.UsesERPsystem to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders and responsible for paperwork internal distribution product packing slips for shipments and/or labels.Assist Shipping and Receiving Associate III with information and counts weighs ormeasuresitems of outgoing shipments andtoassistverifying against bills of lading invoices orders or other records.Follow quality standards andcomply withprocedures rules and regulations.Generate barcodes for scanning for warehouse location of finished goods.Purchasing:Create review and process purchase orders in the companys procurement ERP system.Validate purchase requisition for accuracy budgetalignmentand compliance with policies and procedures.Ensure proper coding documentation and approval of workflow completion.Ensure correct vendor details pricing quantities and delivery timelines.Monitor PO status and follow up with vendors for order confirmation.Keep a clean and safe working environment andoptimizespaceutilization.âSKILLS and ABILITIESExcellent communication skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Excellent knowledge of MS Office and ERP Systems.Attention to detail.âEDUCATION and EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma / GED1-3 years of experienceonwarehouse manufacturing in an automated (MRP/ERP) environment.Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping software.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSââAbility toâlift upâto 50 lbs. and anythingâoverârequires help and/or handling equipment.â While performing the duties of the job the employeeâis regularly required toâstand for periods of time walk and reach with hands and arms.ââââââEEOC Statement:ââMW Industries Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race color religion age sex national origin disability status genetics protected veteran status sexual orientation gender identity or expression or any other characteristic protected by federalâstateâor local laws.â Key Skills Hotel Reception,B2C,Animation,Manufacturing,Avionics Employment Type : Full-Time Department / Functional Area: Supply Chain Experience: years Vacancy: 1
